PERMS Integrator
The yearly maintenance and support for PERMS Integrator that NGB
handles has once again expired. We are currently waiting on a new
contract and it has been delayed.
Discharges
Version 10.6.4 of the TwinEngines Web App Suite is now
available. We are still waiting on the new 2014 version of the
NGB22 form. Unfortunately, the version that was originally sent to
us back in January is going through a pretty major change. It looks
like they are revamping the whole form and going away from the 2
page form back to a 1 page form. This means the 2014 version we
implemented thinking it would be officially released soon, is going
to be significantly different from the final version. Because of
this, we've gone back to the 2012 version of the NGB22 until the
2014 version is "officially" approved. If you have digitally signed
any of the 2014 version of the NGB22 in the new system, I would
recommend going back and re-signing those forms with the 2012
version and sending those docs out to PERMS. When the new version
of the NGB22 is officially released, we will be incorporating it
into the new TwinEngines Web App Suite version of the Discharges,
so you will need to migrate to this version at some point in the
near future. I've been offering up training sessions for the new
release so if you haven't heard from me about that yet and would
like to schedule one for you and your staff, just let me know and
we can set that up.
This version includes a new migration utility that will migrate
your NGB22 data from the previous version. We've also developed a
State level processing workflow for the NGB22 case type. You can
import this case type into the system and it will replace the
existing one so that instead of the NGB22s getting processed at the
unit or BN level, then approved by the G1, all the processing will
all occur at the G1 level.
We've been working on implementing multiple Discharge related case
types based off of an SOP that the WV-ARNG has developed. These
cases will include links to all the applicable regulations and
forms. Where we can, we are copying and pasting cited paragraphs
from the regulations within the individual tasks, as well as
including the actual form in the system. The first couple of case
types that we've worked through are the Discharge from the ING
(Failure to Muster) and Discharge Trainee (BCT or AIT). We are
working on some online demos of using these 2 case types and they
will be available here when ready:

If you want to import these case types into your Discharges
system, you can download them from here:

Then you can import them through the Import/Export Case Type
function. These case types can be used within the Discharges
application at no additional cost, but they give you a good example
of the types of processes outside of Discharges that you can
automate through our Case Management product.
