SAAR Management

Here is the latest news about what we've been working on at TwinEngines.

There has been a lot of emphasis being placed on auditing user accounts and ensuring all users accessing any information system complete the DD2875, System Authorization Access Request (SAAR) process. If you are looking for a way to manage this process, we've developed a SAAR tracking system that you might be interested in. Our system will allow your users to request access to a system (or systems if they are all on one "platform"), pre-populate the DD2875, then route the DD2875 to the appropriate personnel for the required authorizations and actions. It also allows you to track that personnel have completed their AUP and Annual Cyber Awareness training.

This system as built on top of our Case Management system, and is good example of how you can use it to build customized workflow/approval processes within your state. We've recently updated an online video of the SAAR processing functionality and I'd encourage you to take a look at it here:

News From TwinEngines

ETrans Manager

We've completed the conversion of ETrans Manager. It is now incorporated into the TwinEngines Web Application Suite, and like the rest of our products, is now built on top of the Case Management system. The new version includes all the functionality of the old one, but now takes advantage of some of the features within Case Management. For example, the system will now automatically generate a case for all orders that have been "Amended" or "Revoked" so that someone can determine whether or not a transaction in SIDPERS needs to be rolled back.

Discharges

If you haven't moved over to the new version of Discharges, I'd like to encourage you to do so. This new system has lots of new features and functionality in it. If you are interested in a DCS to train your staff and help migrate to the new system, contact me and we can set this up.

NOTE: TwinEngines Web Application Suite v10.7.9 requires PERMS Integrator v8.6, so upgrade both at the same time to avoid errors.
