PERMS Integrator

Here is the latest news about what we've been working on at TwinEngines.

We have a BETA release of PERMS Integrator that now supports Windows 10. Along with this release, we've added the ability to access the RCAS database via the SQL Server linked server. This eliminates the need to install the Oracle client on the PERMS Integrator workstation and should make the installation and configuration a little easier for you. If you want to use the linked server connection instead of the Oracle connection, select that option in the Database tab of the configuration.

Version 9.2 is available in the "BETA Releases" section of our downloads site.

IMPORTANT: if you upgrade an existing version, be sure to manually delete the PERMS integrator printer from your Windows printers before installing.

News From TwinEngines

ETrans Manager

A new release of ETrans Manager is now available as part of the TwinEngines Web Application Suite. We've added a few features and corrected a few problems with this release.

If you haven't moved over to the new version, I'd like to encourage you to do so. This version includes all the features of the old system, but a new interface and new features like the ability to automatically create cases when Amendment and Revocation orders are published in MILPO Orders so that someone can follow up to see if any transactions to SIDPERS need to be updated or rolled back.

I'd be happy to do a DCS for you and your staff to get you up to speed on the new release.

Discharges

I'd also like to encourage you to move to the new version of Discharges if you have not already. This new system has lots of new features and functionality in it. If you are interested in a DCS to train your staff and help migrate to the new system, contact me and we can set this up. The older version of the Discharges application does not have the latest NGB22 form, and may not function properly once Windows 10 is rolled out within your state.

Case Management

If you are looking for a solution for tracking SAARs, our Case Management system can help you out. For just $2,500 you can quickly get a system in place and start processing and tracking SAARs as well as Acceptable Use Policies and Annual Training. If you are interested in a demo, let me know.
